Wheatland Board schedules February hearing on senior tax exemptions

NY WHEATLAND — Wheatland schedules tax-exemption hearing for February. The Town Board voted unanimously on January 22 to set February 3 as the date for a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Limited Income Senior Exemption and Disabled Persons with Limited Income Exemption programs. Supervisor Jim Kirch presided over the executive session, with Councilmen Steve Call and Tim Davis and Councilwoman Tina Stevens present; Councilman Carl Schoenthal was absent.

The hearing will address two local law amendments for low-income property tax relief.
